General description
SINTEF Energy Research (SINTEF) is a non-profit organization and part of the SINTEF Group engaged in contract research in the national and international marketplace. Its R&D activities are focused on power production and energy converting, and also transmission and use of energy, including industrial processes and products. Issues concerning the deregulation of the electricity markets in Norway and other parts of the world have for many years been a main activity.
SINTEF Energy Research has a staff of about 200 divided on 3 departments, and has consultancy agreements with selected members of the staff at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
Role
Co-ordinator and leader for WP4
- Coordination activities (WP4)
- Responsibility for developing system control
- Investigate the dynamic impact of system control with regard to component interaction and electric interface.
